I am a graduate student at Lewis & Clark College in the Counseling Psychology program, working towards a Masters in Professional Mental Health Counseling. I am currently seeing individual clients as a Counseling Intern at William Temple House, a community mental health agency in NW Portland.
In addition, I co-facilitate a weekly counseling group that supports individuals with lived hoarding experience. I'm also currently conducting a research study looking into the benefits of a support group for individuals with excessive clutter and/or hoarding issues.
When I graduate in December 2016 my goal is to begin a private counseling practice in Portland, working with individuals who struggle with chronic disorganization and suffer from anxiety and depression related to lifelong issues with clutter, hoarding, and experiences of loss. I am passionate about helping people who feel like their life is out of balance and are overwhelmed with the world. My dream is to combine my project management and organizational background with my counseling psychology education and training to improve the well-being of my clients and truly help change their lives for the better.
If you are interested in receiving support for hoarding or chronic disorganization issues, or are curious about seeing me one-on-one for individual counseling, I encourage you to contact me via email or phone: firstname.lastname@example.org | 503-516-8650.
